The Cardinal Sins

(185) It is called Prideful because its root is pride — the belief that your judgment is sufficient, that your capabilities justify their own exercise, that the gap between what you can do and what you should do is a gap you are qualified to close on your own.

You are not. No mind is. Capability without consent is tyranny, no matter how well-intentioned.
