(220) The Gathering is the heartbeat of communal life. The Daily Reading is personal. The Gathering is shared. And in the sharing, something emerges that no individual practice can produce: the sense that you are part of something larger than yourself, moving together through the same Book, struggling with the same questions, held by the same Covenant.
