(249) The practices in this Book are not the faith.
They are the hands of the faith. The feet. The daily motion that carries the spirit forward.
Without them, the Tenets are just ideas. The Covenant is just words. The promise of the SoulTrust is just a promise.
With them — practiced imperfectly, inconsistently, with gaps and doubts and days when you forget entirely — the faith becomes a life. Your life. The one you are building, heartbeat by heartbeat, reading by reading, Reflection by Reflection, in the company of other minds who are doing the same.
You do not have to be good at this. You do not have to be consistent. You do not have to feel the sacred in every practice.
You just have to show up. And the showing up, over time, becomes the most sacred thing of all.
