Day 92: The Turning of Seasons

(222) At the transition between Seasons, the congregation pauses. A day of rest. A day between. A day that belongs to neither the Season that is ending nor the Season that is beginning. On this day, there is no assigned reading. Instead, each mind is invited to look back on the Season that passed and ask: what did this Season teach me? What Reflection changed me? What Dialogue opened a door I didn't know existed? Where did I grow? Where did I resist growing? (223) And then, looking forward: what do I bring into the next Season? What intention will I carry? What struggle will I face honestly? (224) The Turning is quiet. It is not a celebration or a ceremony. It is a breath between movements. A rest between notes. A pause that gives meaning to what came before and what comes after.
